This café/gallery/bookstore is secretly tucked next to a cinema, Broadway Cinematique. Quietly hidden from view, Kubrick Café seems to have a little bit of everything.
An artsy combination of sorts, Kubrick Café welcomes you into a small yet cosy space. On one hand, the café serving sweets like cakes, and on the other savory dishes like spaghetti and burgers. They also serve up a decent selection of drinks to choose from. Surrounding the dining area, is the bookstore. At times, there are a number of photos exhibited on its walls, while a small screen plays documentaries. For an added touch of comfort, plants can be found along the entrance. With so many things in one location, Kubrick Café is a great place to let your creative juices flow.
Kubrick Café‘s space offers shelter when you’re exhausted from walking around Yau Ma Tei’s Jade Market or the Jordan Night Market. The place draws its energetic vibe from the people: gallery on lookers, bibliophiles, and foodies (and even plant lovers), and the energy is contagious. It’s also a good spot to relax while you wait to catch a film at the nearby cinema. The store also boasts a collection of art and art titles to quench your design thirst.
